It will be hard to miss NAPA at the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500, with the famous auto parts brand bolstering its support of the motorsport action at the famous South Australian street track event next weekend.

NAPA is pleased to confirm that it has thrown its support behind emerging Supercars team PremiAir Nulon Racing, with the team’s two Chevrolet Camaros to feature NAPA Racing branding on their front bars and rear wings.

Mitch Wiley, Executive General Manager of Marketing, NAPA says “NAPA is proud to support PremiAir Nulon Racing for the final round of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship. The team is proving itself an emerging force and has quickly become a threat to the established Supercars teams. The VAILO Adelaide 500 will be a huge event with the exciting addition of the NAPA Speedway and we can’t wait to welcome the motorsport fans to the event.”

The support of the Queensland-based Supercars team adds to the major backing of the all-new NAPA Speedway that will, for the first time, bring a temporary speedway track to the fans at the Adelaide Parklands venue.
On top of that, Australian speedway star James McFadden will carry the blue and yellow NAPA colours on his popular #5 entry in the highly-anticipated ‘Sprintcars in the City’ event.
The 40 drivers at the NAPA Speedway will vie for the $126,000 cash prizes on offer in what is set to be a momentous occasion for speedway racing in Australia.

NAPA’s partnership with the PremiAir Nulon Camaros of James Golding and Tim Slade is a return for NAPA to the Supercars Championship. “Having NAPA Racing’s support as we head into the final round of the 2024 Supercars Championship is truly special for PremiAir Nulon Racing,” said team owner Peter Xiberras. “This partnership not only underscores NAPA’s commitment to Australian motorsport but also adds to the excitement of the VAILO Adelaide 500, with NAPA bringing their energy to both the street track and the speedway. “With Jimmy chasing a top five finish and Tim set for his last full-time run, we’re ready to give it our all alongside such an iconic brand.”

NAPA was last seen in the championship with its support of Walkinshaw Andretti United between 2021 and 2022 which came after that team’s wildcard entry in the 2019 Bathurst 1000 for INDYCAR drivers Alexander Rossi and James Hinchcliffe.

This event is an important one for PremiAir Nulon Racing, with Golding currently sitting sixth and within a genuine shot of finishing fifth overall in championship, while event will mark category stalwart Slade’s final event as a full-time driver.

The VAILO Adelaide 500 will see a plethora of motorsport action, including the final round of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship, the NAPA Speedway and a round of the Australian Supercross Championship – all within the at the famous street track’s precinct on November 14-17.
