Jett Johnson and NAPA Auto Parts have crossed the line in first place at The Bend Motorsport Park over the weekend.

It was an awesome race event for young Jett, the grandson of legendary motorsport identity Dick Johnson.

Jett qualified on pole for the second round of the TA2 Series, driving his NAPA Auto Parts Ford Mustang.

After finishing fourth in Races 1 and 2, Jett climbed his way to second place in Race 3 before claiming his – and NAPA Auto Parts – maiden victory in the class in the final race of the weekend.

It was an outstanding performance from the young Queenslander, and proves that the third generation racer is following in the footsteps of his dad Steven and his grandfather.

His results also mean that he is now leading the TA2 Series, with his next round in his NAPA Mustang set to come at the Trans Am Series at Sydney Motorsport Park at the end of May.
