NAPA Auto Parts adds Clayton to its Victorian locations!

We are excited to announce that we are bringing together Ashdown-Ingram Sandown and R&E Glen Waverley to form NAPA Auto Parts Clayton.

By amalgamating these key specialist businesses, this will ensure NAPA Auto Parts can preserve the specialist expertise and wide array of parts to best service to both existing customer bases. To permit the extended range of products to be held on site, Ashdown-Ingram Sandown and R&E Glen Waverley will be moving into a bigger location at 26 Treforest Drive, Clayton.

Joining Heidelberg West, Traralgon and Mornington, Clayton is now the 4^th Victorian and 27^th NAPA Auto Parts branch!

The combination of Ashdown-Ingram Sandown and R&E Glen Waverley puts NAPA Auto Parts Clayton in a prime position, with a strong existing knowledge base in automotive electrical, thermal and mechanical.

NAPA Clayton Branch Manager, Kate Warren, mentions “Both teams have come together to help work towards the opening of the NAPA Clayton branch. All the knowledge and experience the team have combined will enable us to pursue new opportunities while maintaining a high level of service for our current Ashdown-Ingram and R&E customers.”

Kate was formerly the Assistant Manager at Ashdown-Ingram Sandown, and has a long history of success within the Australian automotive aftermarket, and the Sandown, Clayton and East Melbourne areas.

Regional Manager, Gary Downs, has opened five locations during this year’s unique trading conditions, but is seeing positive results of hard work and new teams coming together to form one. “Merging two strong teams like those at Ashdown-Ingram Sandown and R&E Glen Waverley means a very hungry sales team ready to make their mark on the region. Expanding their range now allows the Clayton team to offer their customers more than ever before”, he said.

The new location houses over 25,000 parts, with an investment of $1.8 million in inventory to better service the region. The range of stock available is vast and deep, with many of the world’s leading brands, trusted by Australian mechanics and specialists.

Importantly, as with all NAPA Auto Parts locations, whilst the brand may be different, we still have the same people you know and trust working behind the counter. The only change Ashdown-Ingram Sandown customers will come to experience is the use of NAPA PROLink.

NAPA PROLink is an online system used to access an enhanced vehicle parts catalogue search engine. It is designed to make it easier for you to efficiently search for and order parts specific vehicles or applications. Key features of the tool is that it provides ‘real time’ information on pricing and inventory at your home branch and surrounding branches, as well as giving you the ability to build customer quotes, order parts online, search for Log Book Service information (requires SmartQuote subscription) plus much more.
