Chase Elliot Eliminates Kyle Busch at NASCAR Charlotte ROVAL 400

This week is a great week for motorsport, with Bathurst kicking off this weekend and Chase Elliot continuing his winning streak to take out the ROVAL 400 road course at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday.

As this is Chase’s fourth consecutive win in this style of course, he’s now holding the record for second longest winning streak behind Jeff Gordon.

For the first time ever, this racing championship was started in rain tyres, with the race starting wet and rain forecasted through the event. The combination of poor weather and an unpredictable course concerned a number of racers as it raised the possibility of hectic racing and crashes.

With Chase Elliot taking out the chequered flag, he eliminated Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer, Austin Dillon and Aric Almirola from the US NASCAR playoffs. The next NASCAR event is this weekend in Kansas.
