Providing power to any moving vehicle with a battery
Based in South Australia, REDARC has 40 years’ experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of a range of electronic voltage converters and associated products, inverters, power supplies, battery chargers, brake controllers and trailer braking products.
REDARC has grown from humble beginnings to become a world-class, advanced electronics manufacturer, servicing both domestic and international markets.
Their Lonsdale, South Australia, manufacturing facility has expanded by 3,000sqm of advanced manufacturing space. The expansion will enable REDARC to increase its manufacturing capacity by a staggering 250% and significantly increase productivity.
The additional space now houses state of the art equipment such as a new Surface Mount Technology line for loading electronic components, an Electromagnetic Compatibility chamber and a Vibration test lab that enables highly accelerated lifetime testing of products that can simulate 10 years of life in just two days. Three new Universal Collaborative Robots ‘Cobots’ have also been purchased.
REDARC has been recognised by time and time again by the automotive industry and business leaders such as Westpac and Telstra for excellence in product development, manufacturing, innovation and business practices.
In 2019, REDARC will celebrate their 40-year anniversary; a celebration of their achievements to date and ongoing support of Australian manufacturers.
Tow Pro Elite V3
This next-generation Tow-Pro Elite sets the benchmark in trailer brake control technology which has seen it become Australia’s favourite and most trusted brake controller. Brake controllers are a requirement on trailers between 0.75 and 2 tonne GTM – brakes on at least one axel – and 2 to 4.4 tonne GTM – brakes on all wheels.
Like previous generations, the Tow-Pro Elite provides users with the ability to swap between Proportional mode (inertia sensing) for highway driving conditions and User-Controlled mode for off-road driving.
Software upgrades have been included to result in smoother braking for motorists towing heavy trailers and caravans. Importantly, the Tow Pro Elite V3 features Active Calibration, works with Electric and Electric/Hydraulic trailer brakes, supports 12 or 24 volt vehicle systems and ensures an ADR approved installation. It has also been approved by AL-KO for use with their ESC and DSC systems.
Dual Battery Chargers
REDARC’s advanced selection of dual battery isolators and in DC to DC battery chargers are systematically designed to protect a start battery from excessive discharging during multi-battery applications.
Designed to suit 12 and 24V vehicles and available in a variety of sizes including 20A, 25A, 40A and 50A, the range has options for low voltage and ECU controlled variable voltage alternators.
Importantly, REDARC’s BCDC Chargers can be used with most common batteries including AGM, Gel, standard lead acid, Calcium and LiFeP04. The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator will charge from both solar and the alternator simultaneously. And, with built-in ‘Green Power Priority’ it will select solar charging first, meaning less load on the alternator.
RedVision
RedVision by REDARC is a Total Vehicle Management System which allows the control and monitoring of multiple on-board devices in a 4WD, caravan, camper trailer, or motorhome in one place.
RedVision allows you to control multiple on-board devices, such as turning lights, inverter, water pumps and other loads such as televisions, electric steps and fridges on or off. It also provides you with the ability to monitor water levels, temperatures, energy (battery power) consumption and storage, with the battery information available when used with a REDARC ‘Manager’ battery management system.
RedVision comes equipped with an In-vehicle mounted display and Bring Your Own Device ‘BYOD’ Smartphone iOS or Android app that features the control and monitoring of many functions in a 4×4, camper, caravan, or motorhome in one place.

Battery Management Systems
The Manager30 is a complete battery management system for charging auxiliary batteries used in recreational automotive and marine applications. The dual battery system incorporates AC, DC and solar inputs to achieve the best charge for an auxiliary battery.
Developed with ease of installation in mind, The Manager30 is compatible with all vehicles and alternator systems including variable voltage alternators.
Whether you’re charging Lead Acid, Gel, Calcium, AGM or Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, The Manager30 represents a complete DC to DC charging and maintenance solution. If you’re charging one auxiliary battery or more, The Manager30 will ensure they’re always fully charged, providing peace of mind when battery charge provides the power source for the comforts of home whilst travelling around Australia.
The Manager30 can be used with lithium batteries, as it has a dedicated charging profile to suit the range.
Solar Power
REDARC’s innovative and state of the art 4WD solar panels are easy to use and designed to complement your vehicle’s current battery charging system. Solar power is easily recharged throughout the day, making solar panels ideal for grand driving adventures through Australia’s outback. The range features standard fixed solar panels, portable solar panels, solar blankets, standalone regulators and an extensive range of solar accessories including cables and adapters for easy connection.
Fixed solar panels are monocrystalline panels designed to be permanently mounted to a caravan, RV or camper trailer, while portable panels can be maneuvered around the site to best capture the sun. These portable panels feature a double channel aluminium frame to prevent flexing or twisting. For an even more portable option, solar blankets – solar cells attached to a flexible cloth backing – can be folded into a small bag and packed away.
The powerful solar range works with the REDARC suite of BC DC Chargers, Manager30 and RedVision Vehicle Management System, and can be monitored with REDARC’s 52mm gauges.
