With financial support and mentorship from race industry specialists including Dunlop Super3 driver, Jett Johnson, the NAPA Know How Motorsport Academy will give you the tools you need to succeed on and off the track.
NAPA has many active sponsorships in Nascar, Indy Car, Supercars and Sprint Cars across the world, providing us with firsthand knowledge of the true cost of racing and the highly competitive nature of the sport. The NAPA Know How Motorsport Academy will give racers an edge to get ahead of the game and overcome some of the mental, physical and financial barriers racers at all levels of competition face.
Whether you’re in it for the love of racing or have career aspirations to one day be behind the wheel of a V8 Supercar, we’re looking for drivers to apply for their spot in the Academy.

A Driving Force in Racing
NAPA Auto Parts first major involvement with racing began in 1977 with their support of the National 500 as part of the NASCAR Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Almost 45 years on, you’ll continue to see the NAPA brand at the front of the field through Alexander Rossi (IndyCar), Chase Elliott (NASCAR) and Brad Sweet (World of Outlaws Sprintcars).
To support the launch of NAPA Auto Parts in Australia in 2019, NAPA IndyCar drivers Alexander Rossi and James Hinchcliffe came to Australia to race in the iconic Bathurst 1000 and has remained an important backer of the Walkinshaw Andretti United Supercars team.
How to Apply
As long as you are over the age of 13 and race on four wheels within Australian competition, you’re eligible to join.
We’re not fussed if you’re into go karts, sprint cars, Formula Ford, drag car, super sedan, touring, production car, NASCAR or any other form of Australian Motorsport; all we care about is helping you get the most out of your racing experience.
